Sacred Marriage...

So, today I started reading a book titled "Sacred Marriage".  I am literally only on page two and had to share a thought....

The book opens like this:

"I'm going to cut him open".
OK... the book is on marriage.... of course what is your first thought... 


The Next Sentence goes like this:
"Historians aren't sure who the first physician was who followed through on this thought...".

I love this writer already and plan on continuing this read!  I love that the first 2 sentences got my attention, and that the question asked.... is one I have always wondered and chatted about with my husband. Who on earth is the first person that ever thought to take a knife and cut a screaming woman open and get that baby out!!!!

 I can't help but be so curious to read on and see where all of this is going.

And Yes, even after 33 1/2 years of Marriage, we continue to read and talk about our committment.
